NOTE: This software only works with the English set as the default language on Facebook. Language locales will be added in future versions.
-General Information-
FacePAD, better known as the Facebook Photo Album Downloader will allow you to download your friends’ facebook albums, en masse, with the click of a button. This extension was originally developed by Nic Holliday. I took the liberty of updating this extension for Firefox 3 since he didn’t. In the process, I’ve revamped his code and made it compliant with Mozilla’s standards & Facebook’s new interface, and I've added some new features. Version 0.5.4 of this project was developed Diana Jaunzeikare (Rozziite).
-Functionality-
To download photos from the a friends album (NOT EVENTS OR GROUPS ALBUM), right-click (with your mouse) on the name/link of a facebook album and click the Download Album with FacePAD option. If you did this properly, a JavaScript pop-up will appear telling you to wait a moment while it initiates the download process. Press OK and the photos will be downloaded to Firefox’s default download directory. If their are more than one page of photos, then more than one JavaScript pop-up will appear (one for each page, where 1 page = 20 photos). Example of alerts below image.

To download an album from Events Album or Groups Album, the user must right-click on the See All link on the main page of the group or event of interest.
Note: Groups and Events albums have a maximum capacity that is much larger than 60 photos. For example, if the event/group of interest has 200 photos, you will see 10 alerts, instead of three, since the groups/events pages still have a limit of 20 photos per page, but 10 pages worth of photos.
